Ilja Pawel has more than 10 years industry experience in international sales, business development and project management. He focuses on international B2B sales and business model generation.
From 2016 to 2018, he was independent consultant acting as Sales Director EMEA for a US-American start-up in the market of energy storage. In 2016, he started his own consultancy company. Before starting his own business, he was long-term project manager and led international customer projects for different companies in the renewable energy sector. In addition, he was responsible for definition and set-up of internal quotation processes and order management and implemented all related business processes. Furthermore he started to be interested in market analysis. After finishing his PhD during his engagement with Infineon he moved to Vienna and gained valuable industry expertise as consultant in the automotive industry. He started his career as research associate at Technical University Ilmenau. In this period he also was co-founder and shareholder of a start-up and was responsible for the accounting.
Dr. Ilja Pawel has a degree in industrial engineering and management and a doctorate degree in electronics (power semiconductors), both from Technical University Ilmenau, Germany. He lives in Vienna, Austria.
